- Click on the login in link in the header menu above or head to https://www.uptickhq.com/au/sign-in/
- Type your company name (in lower case) into the login bar. Click Sign in.
- Enter your email and password to complete sign in.
- Select the Client Group or Client you wish to view from the available list.
- Available choices will be filtered to your company and access settings.
- Client groups are utlised by clients with multiple locations, that require location level filtering.
- Clients will display multiple clients if you are, for example, a property manager managing multiple client portfolios.
When you first login you will be taken to your personalised dashboard.
From the dashboard you can:
- View a map of your property locations.
- View and access defects across your property or portfolio.
- View and access compliance by contractor.
- Access property level detail. Including invoices, quotes and defects.
- Access documents relating to your property or portfolio.
By clicking your initials on the top right you can change the property or group you are viewing or log out.
To open the property level detail, click on the property name.
Once open, you can access:
- High-level property details like photos, access information and contact details. As well as a map of the property location.
- Quick links to:
- Audits
- Open tasks
- Defect quotes
- Unpaid invoices
- Defects
- Programme Maintenance
- ESMs
- Reports
- Documents
There are two options for viewing defects in Uptick.
Option One: Your defects
This is where you can view and manage defects from across your portfolio in one visually analysed location.
- Navigate to ‘Your defects’ on your dashboard.
- Click the ‘Search defects’ button to access and search your portfolio defect registry.
- Your total number of non-conformance, non-critical and critical defects across your portfolio are clearly shown in this section. Click on the number to access the defect registry and view defect details.
- Defects are also shown by month and asset type in the graphs below. Each graph element is clickable and will navigate to the defect registry or asset-level defect details.
Option Two: Your properties
This is where you can view defects at a property by property level.
- Navigate to ‘Your properties’ on your dashboard.
- If you have a property with defects, it will display as a clickable number on your dashboard.
- Click the defect number to access the defect registry.
- Click the property name to access property-level defect details.
- Once in the property details, scroll down to defects to view and manage defects by property asset.
Managing defects:
Defects are managed on an asset level.
- You can access the asset registry by clicking:
- Search button in ‘Your defects.’
- Defect numbers in ‘Your defects.’
- Defects by month in ‘Your defects.’
- The defect number in the ‘Your properties’ section.
You can access asset-level defect information and action items via the defect registry or via the asset graph in the ‘Your defects’ section.
Open tasks are accessed on a property level.
To access open tasks for a specific property:
- Click on the property you wish to access under your dashboard’s Your properties section.
- Click on the Open Tasks quick link; once the property popout opens
- Your Open tasks view may be filtered. Clear or add filters to manage the tasks you can see
To view task level details:
- Click view on the task you wish to access
- Once viewing your chosen taks you can see
- Description of the task
- Scope fo works
- Dates, technician and reference numbers
- If there are any reports generated for the chosen task you can access them by clicking view on the report you wish to view.
Reports generated within Uptick are accessed on a property level.
To access reports for a specific property:
- Click on the property you wish to access under your dashboard’s Your properties section.
- Scroll down to the Latest reports section
- Select the latest report you want to view
OR
- Select ‘search all reports’ to access older reports
- Once viewing the report, you select you can download or print, if required
Documentation refers to documents not generated within the Uptick platform. These documents often include client-supplied images, additional property information, etc.
Documentation is accessed at a property level. To access documentation for a specific property:
- Click on the property you wish to access under your dashboard’s Your properties section.
- Scroll right down to the bottom on the property information popout
- Select the document you wish to view under the Documentation section
You can download the document using the download button
The rectification module is where you can access and manage your submitted defect rectifications.
There are five (5) defect severity types and you can submit a rectification for any of them. But you do not have to submit rectifications for informational defect severity.
There are three methods to submit a rectification via Uptick.
Via the defect registry
- Go to the defect registry (as outlined in the video above)
- Find the defect you wish to submit a rectification for, Click View
- Once summary page appears, click on Submit Rectification
- Provide all requested information in the popup window
- Including: details about work done, works progress, and supporting documentation (images, pdfs, etc)

Via Property specific defects
- Click on the Property you wish to submit rectification for.
- Navigate to the defects section and click on the graph
- Find the defect you wish to submit a rectification for, Click View
- Once summary page appears, click on Submit Rectification
- Provide all requested information in the popup window
- Including: details about work done, works progress, and supporting documentation (images, pdfs, etc)
Rectifications in submitted can be viewed by:
- Click the Search button in the Your Properties section of your dashboard.
- Select Rectifications
- Clear or add any filters
- Click View to access the rectification you want
FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Hendry Group will not issue invoices via the Uptick platform.
Invoices are issued via the Hendry Group administrative team to your nominated billing contact.
Payment methods are outlined on issued invoices.
At this time, Hendry Group does not issue defect quotes. Please disregard this section of the portal.
