Leading industry figureheads and emerging entrepreneurs convened for the 2018 Optus “My Business” Awards held in Sydney last Friday evening.

The awards night is “Australia’s longest-standing business awards benchmarking the success of the best business operators” and recognises the contribution of Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) as key movers of industry and contributors across community and the local economy.

Optus’ event regularly attracts more thousands of entries from Australia’s most forward-thinking organisations, recognising home-grown companies which have since become household names, past recipients including Boost Juice, Sumo Salad & RedBalloon.

Following a period of continued growth and innovation- as well as a surge in awards recognition, Hendry was chosen as a finalist for the Property Business of the year category, reflecting the company’s proactive stance on innovation and leadership. Whilst CEO Emma Hendry was elected finalist Business Leader of the Year and Businesswoman of the Year awards.

Speaking on this year’s awards, CEO Emma Hendry stated “It has been an immense honour to be recognised among other leaders of Australian industry. CEO Emma Hendry has been frequently called upon by members of Federal Government and International Consulate members, as well as heads of Proptech industry globally to provide expert knowledge on industry practice and technological innovation as a basis for the expansion of business capabilities and supporting economic and environmental targets in industry, in particular the role and application of data driven technologies underpinning traditional advisory and client services.
