The Australian Financial Review has named Hendry in Australia’s most Innovative Companies list of 2019, for the second year running.

Hendry has been recognised for their development of an innovative, web and mobile bases training platform HendryIQ, designed to provide an immersive user experience through customisable, modular & scalable training.

Commenting on the award, CEO Emma Hendry spoke of the importance of creating a company-wide cultural shift which can enable change through meaningful and collaboratively driven innovation, moving on to explain the ways in which enlisting new and emerging technologies is the way forward.

“Hendry have been a consistently disruptive force in our sector as we look to transform the way things should be done.” She said.

“What HendryIQ represents therefore is not just the effort that has been made in creating a new technology or a platform, it represents the ability to deliver training in an immersive and impactful way and allowing greater transparency of data and results by incorporating these new technologies. We designed this solution to offer on demand insights enabled by real time data analytics and more informed decision making. This has been part of a greater momentum within the company which is driving a continual cultural shift.”

This award follows repeat international recognition for the company’s efforts in developing leading technologies within the sector and its contributions surrounding more sustainable and technologically backed development of the infrastructure which underpins our cities.

Earlier this year, Hendry partnered with Australian based international funds management firm Salter Brothers, marking the firm’s interest and support in the organisation’s development of PropTech solutions as a first mover in the sector.

“We are delighted to have a strategic partner that appreciates our unique market position, where our Software-As-A-Service (SAAS) platform gives us exposure to every element of the property ecosystem and an ability to deliver expanded solutions to our customers. With this investment we will be able to further cement Hendry Group as Australia’s largest integrated risk, compliance and asset optimization firm.” Ms Hendry said.

“We’re extremely proud of the way we’ve been able to grow the organisation on the back of these ambitions and in striving to create purposeful and lasting innovation which identifies and satisfies a real and emerging need within the built-form ecosystem, which has been particularly slow to modernise and innovate at a time when it desperately needs to.”

Hendry are proud to rank in the top 10 Most Innovative Companies in the Property, Construction and Transport sectors. For the full list and to find out more visit the AFR Website here.
