Safety Measures Australian Standards : BCA

The Building Code of Australia (BCA) references many Australian Standards for the design and installation of building elements, with State and Territory building regulations nominating either Installation Standards or Maintenance Standards as the reference for the inspection and maintenance of essential safety measures.  The BCA used to nominate essential safety measures in “Safety Measures” in Section I Maintenance, the following table lists all the Safety Measures and BCA Clause References applicable to building elements. Beside each of the Safety Measures, is the Australian Standard that can affect the ongoing maintenance of the Safety Measure.
