Administration Assistant

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join one of Australia’s leading Building Surveying and Property Compliance Solutions companies. Hendry has operated for over 30 years as a market leader; nationally around Australia; and provides top quality professional services across a diverse range of industries. This opportunity has arisen, as Hendry is going through a rapid expansion and is searching for the right candidate to join this busy and dedicated administration team.¬†Reporting to the Service Coordinator, you will play a pivotal role in propelling the business forward with focus on providing exceptional administrative support. This is a challenging role, requiring candidates that embrace change and consistently strive to improve upon their current skill-base. As this role is diverse in nature, the successful candidate will have had previous experience in commercial industry or in an in-house administrative support role. They must also be confident and fluent in liaising with both external and internal stakeholders.

The successful applicant’s duties will include:

  • Creating reports using company specific programs
  • Loading reports onto custom web based software
  • Maintaining and updating internal databases and excel records
  • Downloading photos and other documentation to the network
  • Preparing and issuing annual certificates
  • Issuing documentation to service contractors
  • General office/reception duties where required

  • Strong attention to detail
  • Intermediate to Advance level in MS Office suite including Word, Excel, Power Point, databases etc.
  • Excellent interpersonal and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent written and analytical skills and strong ability to proof read
  • Ability to learn new computer programs quickly
  • Strong ability to prioritise competing tasks and to manage workload in order to meet tight deadlines
  • The ability to embrace responsibility and work autonomously as well as part of a team
