NSW – HENDRY building certifiers advise that the Building Professional Board states that if a development is subject to BASIX (under the building regulations) and a relevant BASIX certificate requires a certifying authority to monitor fulfillment of any of the commitments listed in the certificate, then, under clause 154B of the EPAR Regulations, a certifying authority may only issue an interim or final occupation certificate for the building if each relevant BASIX commitment (whose fulfilment the certifying authority is required to monitor) has been implemented.
